VIRTUAL SERMON:

PART ONE

PART TWO:

SERMON NOTES:

Sowing Tithe: Believe You Receive

Intro: talk to the Tithers, and holy spirit filled people

  • point out the failure is not in their giving, but in their believing to receive

  • your capacity to receive is determined by your capacity (level) of belief-faith

  • without faith it’s impossible to please God (Heb 11:6)

  • let Him ask in faith or you won’t receive anything (James 1:6-7)

Genesis 8:22 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

  • Don’t just have faith to give, and then think that’s it (its over)

    • Don’t stop believing, don’t turn your faith off

  • Don’t do the first part (Give), and then stop there before the Harvest

Galatians 6:7 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.

  • The seed you sow only activates (begins) your faith for God’s provision to come in

    • Name your seed- You should be believing for something every time you plant a seed

    • Farmer expects a harvest every time he plants a seed

    • Every time you give depending on if you give tithe, alms, first fruits, seed, debt cancelation- there is a promise to that type of giving that you should be believing to receive

Mark 11:24 - New King James Version

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

  • Your capacity to believe will determine the level you receive, and sometimes how quickly you receive it into manifestation. (reality)

  • God’s people have been missing it on the receiving portion of this verse

  • You have stepped out in faith, and put God’s word into action by giving (how many have done this before?)

    • BUT many have turned off their faith (stopped too early) after they give before the harvest comes in

    • They stop believing to receive the harvest

1 Corinthians 3:6 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was making it grow and [He] gave the increase.

  • Don’t forget about your seed; you need to water seed after you give

  • Don’t throw your seed, sow it with intentional purpose using your faith

  • After you give- spend time meditating God’s Word & speaking God’s word over your life situations (watering your seed)

  • Meditate on God’s laws of prosperity until they become personal reality to you (personal revelation/ truth)

Mark 9:23 - New King James Version

23 Jesus said to him, “If[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

  • You will only receive up to the level of what you believe (faith level)

    • Okay How do you increase your faith?

    • Rom 10:17 faith comes by hearing the word- more word more faith

Numbers 23:19 - Amplified Bible

19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it?

  • People put faith in mercy, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, protection, but in the area of finances they always go to God as a last resort

  • Tithing teaches people to live a faith discipline

    • Don’t be moved by their carnal circumstances

  • Live by Faith in His Faithfulness

  • Read Journal (May 11th 2022) section

  • Do you believe the love God has for you to trust Him with your finances?

    • Obedience and trust is the motivation to the tithe
