SERMON NOTES:
Receive the Harvest by Faith
2 Peter 1:3 - Amplified Bible
3 For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through [a]true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
Everything that you will ever need in this life has already been accomplished and made available to you through what Jesus has already done
Everything we struggle to get has already been done & provided for us
Grace grace (all grace available to us)
The power (Holy Spirit is the power) to bring the will of heaven here to earth is available to us
John 19:30 - Amplified Bible
30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and [voluntarily] [a]gave up His spirit.
It is finished/ already done
Life, death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven (where he sits at the right hand of God / position of authority)
We are redeemed from the sin curse through what Jesus did
We receive it by faith
Receive redemption by faith/ receive the blessing by faith
Seed-if the word says so (let the redeemed of the Lord say so)
Activate your faith on what the word says (seed)
Acts 27:25 - King James Version
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Paul Believed God and that everything would be as God said
Do you believe God? Is God a liar?
That’s how he was able to be of good cheer/ Joy in the middle of a storm
2 Timothy 1:12 - King James Version
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
I know in whom I believe
Use your faith to access all grace made available to you
Get sick and tired of being sick and tired (use your faith to receive all grace)
Mark 5:27-34 - King James Version
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
She heard of Jesus (Rom 10:17) faith comes by hearing
(v28) She said (say what you are believing for) speak the seed
(v27) May observe and do (actions authenticate your faith)
Do it/ act of faith (point of contact)
Faith gives it action/Your actions defeat you or put you over
According to your actions you receive it or are kept from receiving
Act on what you say
Her healing would not have come to pass if she had not acted on what she said
Receive it (faith in the seed)
(29) Many people want the feeling and manifestations first before the saying and the doing
Need the saying and the doing before the receiving
Back then they had to go to Jesus for the miracles; today we have the Holy Ghost
Jesus unlimited (anytime, anywhere we have access to God’s supernatural power)
Power to heal, deliver, and set us free
This supernatural, unseen, unheard of power is available always and is present
We have to learn how to plug in to the supernatural
We can put it to work for us
(34) thy faith has made thee whole (faith in the seed)
Whole- nothing missing nothing broken
Complete/ wholeness
Her faith caused the power to flow out of Jesus (she plugged in)
(31) Many people touched Jesus that day
Touch-curiosity, accidentally, some to see what would happen, but no power flowed out
No power flowed out until there was a Touch of Faith
Romans 5:2 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
2 Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
Access grace by faith: be saved, delivered, healed, prosperous, new job, marriage, kids that live for Christ, restoration of marriage
No word no faith- you need to have the word/seed on that subject to access the grace Jesus provided using your faith (key)
Faith efforts (depend on God as source) not works efforts (religion/ self-righteousness)
Conclusion
Faith is acting on God’s word (acting on the unseen)
I know when I say & act on scriptures that is faith (I believe I receive)
This is how you plug into heaven& turn the switch of Faith on
Receive it by faith
Know that you know that you know
Know in your knower
