God Looks at Your Heart

1 Samuel 16:7 Amplified Bible

  1. It’s God’s will for us to prosper

  1. Power in the seed

Isaiah 55:9-11  The Passion Translation

As high as the heavens are above the earth, so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours.
10 “As the snow and rain that fall from heaven[a]
    do not return until they have accomplished their purpose,
    soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life,
    providing seed to sow and bread to eat.
11 So also will be the word[b] that I speak;
    it does not return to me unfulfilled.[c]
    My word performs my purpose
    and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.

2 Corinthians 9:10 The Passion Translation

10 This generous God who supplies abundant seed[a] for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals,[b] is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies[c] every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity[d] will grow.

And I tell you [learn from this], make friends for yourselves [for eternity] by means of the [a]wealth of unrighteousness [that is, use material resources as a way to further the work of God], so that when it runs out, they will welcome you into the eternal dwellings.

10 “He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of earthly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you? 12 And if you have not been faithful in the use of that [earthly wealth] which belongs to another [whether God or man, and of which you are a trustee], who will give you that which is your own?
