How Does Faith Work?
Romans 10:8-10 - New Living Translation
8 In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: 9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
How do you declare? Say it out Loud- Confess What you Believe
Believe in your Heart
Faith is a 2 step process -SAY what you believe in your heart
Confess it with your mouth
Believe it in your heart
Matthew 17:20 - New King James Version
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [a]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Faith people need to SAY
Your faith is voice activated
Mark 11:22-23 - New King James Version
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
The subject of this scripture is Faith
Whoever SAYS- mentions SAYS 3 times
Faith speaks- Faith filled words-Speak what you believe in your heart
2 Corinthians 4:13-14 - New Living Translation
13 But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, “I believed in God, so I spoke.”[a] 14 We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus,[b] will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you.
Faith talks
I believed will lead to speaking- past tense will get you to I know
Matthew 12:34-37 - TPT (The Passion Translation)
But you who are known as the Pharisees are rotten to the core like venomous snakes. How can your words be good if you are rotten within? For what has been stored up in your hearts will be heard in the overflow of your words! 35“When virtue is stored within, the hearts of good, upright people will produce good fruit. But when evil is hidden within, those who are evil will produce evil fruit. 36You can be sure of this: when the day of judgment comes, everyone will be held accountable for every careless word he has spoken. 37Your very words will be used as evidence, and your words will declare you either innocent or guilty.”
Your words locate your heart (what you been thinking about)
You will be held accountable for every careless word you spoke on this earth
Heaven keeping track of your words as evidence
Your words are Evidence that you will be declared innocent or guilty in heaven
Revelation 12:11 - New Living Translation
11 And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.
Defeat the enemy by Declaring what Jesus has done (The Blood)

Our faith brings the victory over the world
Believe it in our heart and confess it with our mouth
SAY what we believe

20Sharing words of wisdom is satisfying to your inner being. It encourages you to know that you’ve changed someone else’s life. 21 Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.
Your Words kill you or Bring Life to you

Angels are listening to God’s Words on your lips as commands to fulfill them
Hebrews 1:13-14 - TPT (The Passion Translation)
And God has never said this to any of his angels: “Take your seat next to me at my right hand until I force your whispering enemies to be a rug under your feet.” What role then, do the angels have? The angels are spirit-messengers sent by God to serve those who are going to be saved.
