SERMON NOTES:

The New Creation Miracle in You

Galatians 2:20-21 - Modern English Version

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God,[a] who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God. For if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in vain.

  • (Passed away) buried have a funeral for the old you (crucified with Christ)

  • Stop identifying/ seeing yourself with your past, your old sinful mistakes, your feelings, circumstances- (that’s the old you)

    • You just don’t know what I am going through or what happened to me

    • No, I don’t- BUT here is how you get out of it/ Here is how to get unstuck, and enjoy LIFE

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 - Amplified Bible

18 But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God].

20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. 21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].

Romans 5:14-19 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

14 Yet death held sway from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who did not themselves transgress [a positive command] as Adam did. Adam was a type (prefigure) of the One Who was to come [in reverse, [a]the former destructive, the Latter saving].

15 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.

16 Nor is the free gift at all to be compared to the effect of that one [man’s] sin. For the sentence [following the trespass] of one [man] brought condemnation, whereas the free gift [following] many transgressions brings justification ([b]an act of righteousness).

17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

18 Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men.

19 For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, [c]heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him).

  • Let the word start talking to you; this is where the word goes from information to revelation to manifestation

Mark 9:23 - New King James Version

23 Jesus said to him, “If[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

  • Change your belief system, change from the inside out

  • Change what you believe, will change your thinking patterns, will change what comes out of your mouth, will change your outcomes

  • Maybe what’s possible for me may not be possible for you.

    • Why? What I believe is possible is at a different level than where you are at.

Genesis 8:20-21 - Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

20 And Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean [four-footed] animal and of every clean fowl or bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

21 When the Lord smelled the pleasing odor [a scent of satisfaction to His heart], the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the imagination (the strong desire) of man’s heart is evil and wicked from his youth; neither will I ever again smite and destroy every living thing, as I have done.

  • Your ground of your heart (imagination) will produce whatever seed you plant in your heart

    • Fear, worry, lust, greed, depression (world’s neg. evil sinful flow)

    • Love, peace, joy, mercy, grace, humbleness (Holy Spirit flow)

Romans 12:2 - New Living Translation

2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Meditate: Re-Program Your Soul as a New Creature In Christ

  • Change your belief system in an accelerated manner

  • Ponder, read, think about, confess it out loud, memorize it

  • The enemy has programmed you through your past experiences, teachers, family, friends, circumstances, failures, bad memories

    • We need to reset your boundaries; Dream again, dream big things

    • This is how we attack these things and how the enemy will attack us is through the soul realm

  • Spend rest of our lives Renewing our minds in who we are in Christ, new spiritual condition

    • Learn who we are in Christ

    • Unlearn living in the flesh, that’s the old you (sons of disobedience)
