PRAISE AND WORSHIP
SUNDAY SERMON
SERMON NOTES:
Cast out Evil Spirits, Demons, Unclean spirits
John 10:10 - Amplified Bible
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
3 John 2 - New King James Version
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
1 John 1:7-10 - New King James Version
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
Isaiah 43:25-26 - New King James Version
25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins. 26 Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be [a]acquitted.
Ephesians 4:26-27 - Amplified Bible
26 Be angry [at sin—at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], yet do not sin; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. 27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness].
Luke 8:1-3 - New King James Version
8 Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and [a]bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, 2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and [b]infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, 3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for [c]Him from their [d]substance.
Mark 16:9 - New King James Version
9 [a]Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.
Get rid of the stigma or embarrassment of being delivered
Matthew 10:1 - New King James Version
10 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
Mark 3:14-15 - New King James Version
14 Then He appointed twelve, [a]that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, 15 and to have [b]power [c]to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
Mark 6:7 - New King James Version
7 And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.
Mark 6:12-13 - New King James Version
12 So they went out and preached that people should repent. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.
Luke 10:17-20 - New King James Version
17 Then the [a]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [b]rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
Mark 16:17 - New King James Version
17 And these signs will follow those who [a]believe: In My name they will cast out demons;
1st sign that follows a believer in the great commission
